Personality : Tamu is a happy go lucky lioness who loves to help others. She likes to greet new lions, and is always welcome to anyone. She is a natural born planner, and loves to be in charge of events. She likes to dream quite a lot as well. However, her bubbly personality often leads her into trouble.

Dislikes : Rogue lions, being left alone
History: Tamu was born to two rogues living in the Masai Mara. She was born alone, and had no siblings. Her parents were both wanted criminals for stealing food from other lands, and killing cubs. They were going to raise her to be just like them ; A wanted fugitive. Tamu was very close with another lion cub, named Damu. They were the best of pals, and always had each other's backs. As time went by, Alitaka, Tamu's father, agreed to bethroed Damu to Tamu.
However, Tamu's curiosity got the best of her on one day. It was the day of the Great Migration. She watched in awe as the animal herds moved in. But something caught the corner of her eyes, it was a group of lions. It was Mohatu's pride, which were indeed enemies of Tamu's pride. After the lions got a drink of water, Tamu ran over to greet them. Mohatu was confused as to were the cub had came from, as there was nothing but thick shrubs around the water hole. Mohatu instantly interduced himself to Tamu, and she was amazed. The pride was so much bigger than her's, and there were so many more play mates! Every day, Tamu visited Mohatu's pride, slowly becoming a good hearted lioness, unlike her father. She never told anyone. However, one day, Mohatu's pride had left, and Tamu was confused. She searched everywhere, until her father saw her.
"What are you searching for?" He asked.
"Um, I was searching for another lion cub!" She lied.
"You know lions from other prides are not welcome here." He said.
"But they were so nice!" She replied.
"Well, if they are so nice to you, why don't you join them?!" He asked.
"But I-"
"No buts! Go, now!" And with that, he walked away, leaving Tamu alone.
Tamu was angry and sad, but also a little proud. She had stood up to her father once and for all. She traveled for miles, wandering without a clue as to where the Pridelands were. She bumped into several prides along the way, but left them soon after. She had to find Mohatu's pride! She just had to. Finally, she caught up with them. They were visiting another pride. Tamu interupted Mohatu's conversation with another lion, humbly asking to join his pride. Mohatu was a gentle ruler, and easily accepted the cub's offer.
As time went on, Tamu grew up to be a beautiful lioness. She was tall, slender, and sleek. But there was one thing she didn't have, and that was a mate. It was almost mating season, and she feared that the more handome males would be gone before long. Thus, she began her search for the perfect mate. Along her journey, she met Asha, a smart cheetah, who promised to help her find her a mate. They instantly became buddies, and Asha knew several routes to travel. Among their journey, Tamu and Asha met two other lionesses, who both shared the same dream as Tamu. Their names were Uzima and Barafu, and were twins. They joined Tamu's journey as well.
Soon, Tamu's friends had found mates themselves, and had split from her group. It left her alone, sad, and afraid. But as her journey came to a end, she had met a young male named Nyota. He was lost, and wanted to find his way to the Pridelands. This was chance for Tamu to find a mate, but she was too focused on helping him. The both found their way to the Pridelands, and slowly became friends. Without a doubt, Tamu had found the perfect mate, her own little star.
As time went by, Mohatu had to exile Nyota, seeing that he was a nuisance to his cubs, and could possibly kill them. Tamu, heart broken, decided to go with him, but she made a horrible choice. While they were searching for another home, Nyota got bitten by a venomous snake. It left quite a wound, and Nyota had a much harder time trying to walk. Soon, they spotted help, another lioness. They yelled after her, but she didn't see them. Instead, a rogue lion found them. Right away, the rogue hit him in the face, leaving three, deep, bloody scars. Tamu tried to help, but the lion scared her. As soon as Nyota passed out, the rogue left. Tamu knew that he would be dead, and he was. Now, without a mate, she decided to walk back to the Pridelands, feeling as if she is the one responsible for her mate's death. One night, while sleeping, a group of lions found her, and let her in on their pride. The pride was ruled by 4 handsome males, but Tamu was already pregnant with Nyota's cubs, so she couldn't mate with them.
Finally, Tamu settled down in the pride. She lived there her entire life, and was never exiled. She gave birth to her cub, Binti. Soon after, she met Nkosi, ruler of the pride. She fell in love with him, and eventually, she gave birth to his cub, Kosa. She became known as the lioness with the pure heart. Finally, she died of old age on a cold winter's night, outliving nearly half the pride. Since then, the Pridelanders tell stories of the explorations Tamu had, and she easily became known as one of the most popular lioness in the land.
